Agreement to terms

Welcome to PrepAim. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our SSAT preparation platform, including our website, services, and content (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the Service and that they have agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

User accounts

Account creation

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that we deem harmful to the Service or other users.

Acceptable use

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Upload viruses or malicious code
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use automated systems to access the Service
• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission

Intellectual property

Our content

All content on the Service, including text, graphics, logos, practice questions, study materials, and software, is owned by PrepAim or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limited license

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use in preparing for the SSAT. This license does not include:

• Resale or commercial use of the Service or content
• Derivative works based on our content
• Downloading or copying content for others
• Use of data mining or similar tools

User content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content in connection with operating the Service.

Payment and subscription terms

Pricing

Certain features of the Service may require payment. Prices are subject to change with notice. We reserve the right to modify our pricing structure at any time.

Billing

By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use that payment method. You agree to pay all fees incurred under your account.

Refunds

Refund policies will be clearly stated at the time of purchase. Generally, refunds may be available within a specified period after purchase, subject to our refund policy.

Disclaimers

Educational purpose

PrepAim is a test preparation service. We do not guarantee any specific test scores or admission results. Your success depends on many factors, including your own effort and abilities.

Service availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

No affiliation

PrepAim is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test) or the Enrollment Management Association.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrepAim shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Unauthorized access to your account
• Errors or omissions in content
• Any conduct by third parties on the Service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PrepAim and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PrepAim operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Dispute resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation between the parties
2. Mediation if negotiation fails
3. Binding arbitration if mediation is unsuccessful

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
